The El Diamante band program is comprised of multiple groups and ensembles, including the Marching Miners, Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Jazz Band, Winter Guard, and Winter Percussion. The Marching Miners were the AAAA class champions in 2008, 2010, 2012, and 2013. In addition, Winter Percussion won open class championships at SJVCGPR in 2013. The concert and jazz ensembles have accumulated numerous Superior and Unanimous Superior ratings throughout the state.
